Koté Vins has stepped into this new year with a great innovation by transferring a small parcel of France to Mauritius: an immersion in one of the highest-known cultural heritage which is enology. By organising its first «salon professionnel», on the 6th of February at Hennessy Park Hotel, on the topics of wine and French know-how, Koté Vins & Spirits, in partnership with Grands Chais de France (which distributes in 173 countries), has focused on discovery. A journey through French wines in Mauritius

The discovery journey has started with a selection of 400 wines from nine wine-producing regions of France:  Bordeaux, Languedoc, Bourgogne, Vallée du Rhône, Val de Loire, Alsace, Beaujolais, Jura and Dioi. Four great classified wines from Bordeaux have been tasted: Château Grands Puy Ducasse and Château Meyney (presented by Ms Lemmens), Château Dauzac (presented by Mr Fortin), and Château Lamarque (presented by Mr and Mrs Gromand d’Evry).

As highlighted by Elodie Lagourgue, Manager of Koté Vins,

« It’s a honour for us to organise, in partnership with Grand Chais de France, for the first time and exclusively in Mauritius a salon de vin of this importance for our professional customers in this sector. Our target through this event is to develop further the wine segment on the Mauritian market and to offer an international-level un salon ».
