Last September, through its non-profit foundation lucrative SUNCARE, the hotel group funded about Rs 500,000 and Rs 200,000 to Enn Reve Enn Sourir and Link to Life.

These funds, resulting from the “One Euro per Guest Night” program launched by the hotel establishment in 2019, will enable associations to improve the daily lives of children with cancer in the Sun Children Cancer Ward at Victoria Hospital. These contributions aim to enable Link to Life to provide children and their families with a means of transport that is 100% covered for treatment in the hospital. As for Enn Reve Enn Sourir, the donation will facilitate the care of children with serious illnesses and pathologies who require private care at C-Care for specialised care.

These partnerships with Link to Life and Enn Reve Enn Sourir, made possible thanks to our generous donors, will improve the care of children with cancer in Mauritius. I thank them for their commitment alongside these children and their parents, ” says François Eynaud, CEO of Sun Resorts.

Childhood cancer is a cause close to our hearts at Sun Resort. In addition, the group has been involved for 13 years through the Sun Children Cancer Trust, whose mission is to carry out actions to relieve the ailments suffered by children with cancer by providing them with all the necessary support during their fight against the disease.

Raising awareness of childhood cancer is a lifelong cause of SUNCARE. The fight continued on the 2nd of October at the Tamarina Golf Club. Sun Resorts brought together over 80 players on the golf course for the 5th edition of the Suncare Charity Golf Competition,  of which all of the funds will be donated to the Sun Children Cancer Fund.
