In accordance with its charitable mission, Sun Resorts is organising the sixth edition of SUNCARE Charity Golf on Saturday 17 September 2022 at Ile aux Cerfs. This event is designed to raise funds to provide a boost to children fighting cancer at the SUN Children Cancer Ward of the Victoria Hospital.
Sun Resorts invites golfers and their families to partake in this competition which will allow them to make this beautiful sport even more noble by giving it a philanthropic dimension on one of the most breathtaking courses on the island and for the benefit of the Sun Children Cancer Fund, which is close to the group’s heart.
Swing for a good cause
The entry fee of Rs 3,500 per golfer includes a donation to the Sun Children Cancer Fund, a courtesy breakfast, green fee, golf cart and golf balls throughout the competition, lunch and prize giving at Ile aux Cerfs golf course.
The entire competition fee will be donated to the Sun Children Cancer Fund.
Golfers’ families and non-golfers are also invited to participate by joining the group in its fight against cancer. As such, the breathtaking Île aux Cerfs will be accessible to non-golfers who are eager to support this charity fundraising day by participating in the auction and lunch. The fee for non-golfers is set at Rs 1,800 per adult.
This 6th edition of SUNCARE Charity Golf will kick off at 8.30am and is scheduled to finish at 1.30pm. The competition will be played in a four-man scramble format and will include events such as ‘Drive out Cancer’, ‘Putt for a Cure’ and ‘Swing for Hope’.
