An initiative to support and say thank you to our front-liners!

At the beginning of the national lockdown, in a unique spirit of solidarity, SALT of Palmar has manufactured and distributed 500 masks to the police force and to the inhabitants of Belle Mare. Today, through a Facebook initiative called #CollectivelyWeCare, the hotel establishment once again shows its support by expressing its gratitude to essential workers… A brilliant burst of solidarity, honouring their efforts during the crisis!

A token gesture for a good cause

Applauding the work of the nurses, doctors, the police force, delivery people and supermarket employees during the pandemic, SALT of Palmar has launched an online initiative to reward their bravery.

Until Sunday the 31st of May, the public is invited to nominate an employee of an essential service who has helped and assisted them during the crisis on their personal Facebook page. The post should be accompanied by a thoughtful comment, a description of the front-liner’s role, as well as specifying his or her workplace… All posts should have the hashtag #CollectivelyWeCare.

The 10 most-liked posts shall be designated as winners. The prize: a two-night full board stay during the first month following the reopening of the hotel. The lucky winners can also take a cooking class and enjoy a relaxing 30-minute experience at SALT Equilibrium, a wellness centre designed not only for recharging one’s batteries but also to strengthen immunity.

Because they deserve it

They work tirelessly to take care of the population and ensure its safety. Deeply committed to the community, the team of SALT of Palmar wants to praise these heroes in its own way. The General Manager, Raj Reedoy, points out:

“These courageous people have put the needs of others before their own. We wanted to take this opportunity to pay tribute to them. They were on the front line of this fight and their courage has helped in protecting all those we love.”

So, get on your keyboards and do not forget to” like”! For more information, visit the SALT of Palmar Facebook page
