Thanks to his experience acquired in France and Switzerland during the ten years he worked there, he has the professional skills to oversee various relevant fields such as catering, sales and marketing. In addition to his great professional qualities, Gregory Coquet has a quality that makes him stand out, his passion: The high-luxury hotel business.

Before joining Beachcomber’s Royal Palm as General Manager for five years, Gregory Coquet was managing two hotels on the island for a few years already. Now, in search of a new challenge, he took the Shangri-La Le Touessrok into his care.

Gregory Coquet’s unquestionable sense of service and perfect mastery of the codes of luxury make him an excellent asset for the Mauritian branch of the emblematic brand of the Shangri-La Group.

The new General Manager’s goal: To position Shangri-La Le Touessrok as one of the leading resorts in the Indian Ocean, through sheer dynamism, innovation and creativity, all while offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the full range of 5-star experiences during their stay.

“We are confident that Gregory will expand our sky-reaching hotel experiences and elevate our luxury resort to the top tier of hotels on the island and in the Indian Ocean,” said François Eynaud, Chairman of the Board of Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius.
