One&Only Le St Géran celebrates the Global Weness Day

Wellness has its special day and the world has celebrated it! At One&Only Le St Géran, the gardens, restaurants and the beach have all been dedicated to the Global Wellness Day on the 6th of June 2018. From sunrise to sundown, its guests of all ages have partaken in fun-filled and entertaining activities.

What is the Global Wellness Day?

First celebrated in 2012, Global Wellness Day was established in Turkey as the “first” day dedicated to living well, and has now been accepted worldwide. Global Wellness Day has been officially celebrated in 100 countries at 4000 different locations in 2017, reflecting its success.  In 2018, Global Wellness Day has been celebrated in more than 100 countries at 5000 different locations, including the One&Only Le St Géran.

Wellness celebrated at Club One

A healthy soul in a healthy body! The Club One – launched with the reopening of the hotel a few months ago – has proposed customised experiences through sports, fitness and leisure activities for all ages and all tastes. Club One, home to our KidsOnly Club, OneTribe for teens as well as a state-of-the-art Fitness Centre and other countless friendly games, has been the active playground to host kids, families and friends of skills to participate in a dedicated wellness program which has drawn inspiration from the resort’s high-level facilities and stunning surroundings.

The hotel’s life has been punctuated, since early morning, by various experiences starting with a 5km Jog/Walk followed by a Mat-based Pilates session at Soul Studio, a kid’s yoga session, golf challenge for all members of the family and a Zumba class.

Here at Luxury Mauritius, we are fond of the discovery of the mangroves and the end-of-day multipurpose playground for overall fitness, health and wellbeing.

To keep guests hydrated and energetic, Ace Bar in Club One has offered cold towels, fresh coconut water and other thirst quenchers.

One more day celebrating well-being and wellness since the end-of-2017 revamping of the hotel.
