Bary Ravalimanda, born on February 7th, 1963 in Madagascar, began at a very young age to use pencil and wax modeling.

His first orders from the Ministry of Culture of Madagascar date from 1975 when he realized landscapes in oil for the province of Tulear.

There followed a series of exhibitions in Madagascar, Mauritius, Rodrigues, Reunion, Paris and Europe, as well as private commissions for individuals or ministries.

Complete artist, he excels in oil painting but also handles watercolor and is brilliantly committed to wood carving.

The scenes of everyday life rendered realistically in a palette of bright colors characterize his style.
