Gastronomic experiences up to the expectations of a total rebirth
2018 will start with panache at the One&Only Le Saint Géran, and this is largely owing to Michelin starred Chef Marc de Passorio. With the re-opening of the legendary resort, culinary discoveries and One&Only signature concepts have been meticulously devised. As underlined by Charles de Foucault, General Manager of One&Only Le Saint Géran,

To achieve this feat, the new and only resident Michelin Chef in a Mauritian hotel, Marc de Passorio, has entirely revamped the culinary experience of One&Only Le Saint Géran.

From the summits of his know-how, Marc de Passorio’s background gives evidence of his determination: a first coveted Michelin star in 2008 at the eponymous restaurant in Saint Rémy de Provence; high appraisal by the Gault&Millau Guide in 2013 at ‘L’Esprit Culinaire’ near Avignon, and a triple consecration – a Michelin star, three toques and the Gault & Millau d’Or for Best Restaurant in Provence–Alpes–Côte d’Azur – at ‘L’Esprit de la Violette’ in Aix-en-Provence. A true model!
Today’s resident Chef at One&Only Le Saint Géran, Marc de Passorio will unveil as from the 1st of January 2018 a new gastronomic experience at the peculiar restaurant La Terrasse, where optimum interaction between guests and Chefs is a prerogative. A fore figure there is the cooking range named Bianca which fits the philosophy of the venue. The restaurant has been reborn closer to the azure waters of the ocean to provide even more stunning views and now has new dining pavilions located over the pool.
