As part of the celebration of the new LUX* Grand Baie Resort & Residences, Mauritian swimwear label Alicia Swim has partnered with the pioneering hotel to showcase an exclusive capsule collection. This first collaboration is unveiled under the same signature emblem: high luxury.
Founded by renowned entrepreneur, author, artist and model Alicia Rountree, the capsule collection is inspired by the minimalist design of Kelly Hoppen of LUX* Grand Baie. It is adorned with a dreamlike coconut palm design hand-painted by Alicia Rountree to pay tribute to the island’s tropical beauty.
Highlighting quality beauty
Alicia Swim has every reason to be proud for creating high-end swimwear characterised by its durability. Made with passion, these pieces are in limited edition and have been conceived by Mauritian craftsmen.
The capsule collection includes bikinis, swimming costumes and elegant full-length silk kimonos, all printed in Italy on high-quality fabrics and designed to last for several seasons.
The fabrics are made using an environmentally friendly printing technique that uses 50 percent less water than conventional methods. Furthermore, the brand has developed a unique shape-enhancing technology that brings out every body type.
“Collaborating with Alicia Swim was an easy choice for us, as we share the same views on luxury and sustainability as well as the same love for Mauritius. We are very proud of this collaboration; the designs were chosen by our online community on Instagram. This is our first co-branded swimwear capsule collection and certainly not the last,” says Caroline Gaud-Perrier, Vice President of Marketing at Lux Collective.
This first capsule collection will be followed by many others…
