Environmentally friendly

Customers of LUX* Grand Gaube will have the opportunity to take part in this noble gesture through a green programme during Earth Hour. They will be invited to dine in the dark at the main restaurant, The Palm Court, where no light-emitting objects will be allowed. This will create a unique sensory dining experience.

Children are the custodians of the future. Consequently, they will also be part of this approach to respecting the environment. A series of activities will include gardening and permaculture in the PLAY garden, a sustainable cooking demonstration with the Chef, a natural body scrub workshop at the LUX* Me Spa and a phosphorescent art class at the Junk Art Gallery.

“Our participation in Earth Hour symbolises our commitment to reducing our impact on the environment. We are also using this day to raise awareness among our guests, young and old, about the preservation of nature and to show them our daily efforts in favour of the planet”, says Stephan Anseline, General Manager of LUX* Grand Gaube.

A paperless day where all invoices will be sent by e-mail, a meatless day for staff and empty bins in the canteen will also be on the agenda.
