It was at the prestigious 5-star Sugar Beach Golf & Spa Resort that the great winners of the World Travel Awards (WTA) have been unveiled during a gala ceremony… revealing an outstanding victory for the airline company Air Seychelles. The air carrier successfully earns the award of “Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline – Economy Class” for year 2019. An extra award to add on Air Seychelles’ fruitful history, depicting its commitment to reaching the highest levels of standards in aviation, while optimising customer satisfaction.
A honourable recognition
For 26 years now, the WTA has been rewarding and celebrating excellence across the different sectors of the Travel & Tourism industry worldwide. This year, while the event was held in the beautiful island of Mauritius, several government representatives, tourism industry leaders, luminaries and international media across Africa, including the Indian Ocean, were present to eulogise the winners.
Didier Dogley, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine for the Seychelles has underlined: “Winning the World Travel Awards is indeed a remarkable achievement for Air Seychelles and its staff members who continues to go the extra mile in providing a satisfactory service to its guests to enable the airline to maintain its valuable contribution to our tourism-based economy”.
