A new identity for Long Beach Golf & Spa Resort

Located on the East coast of Mauritius, the five-star hotel Long Beach Golf & Spa Resort, announced its new identity last September at a cocktail party attended by various  guests, brand ambassadors, and international artists. Jean-Marc Ma-Poon, the General Manager, developed in his speech, given in lobby transformed into an art gallery of this emblematic hotel of the Sun Resorts group, the four pivotal points of this new image: art, music, wellness and gastronomy

A new chapter on art and music

The new chapter begins with art and music. Since its opening in 2011, the Long Beach Golf & Spa Resort has always been able to stand out for its dynamic and captivating activities such as its championship golf course designed by Bernhard Langer on Ile aux Cerfs. From now on, the hotel’s programme will include: endemic trails, a climbing wall, four pools as well as performances by resident international DJs, and an art exhibition. During the upcoming months, the Long Beach has planned the following events: a variety of artists, DJs, mixologists, international starred Chefs and other celebrities.


Focus on your well-being and taste buds

This new chapter also starts by bringing particular attention to your body and taste buds. As a matter of fact, for the first time in Mauritius, a Spa & Wellness Retreat, Cinq Mondes, will ensure your well-being. The French Spa Cinq Mondes, inspired by ancient cultures and bursting sensoriality, is a specialist in care and professional products. At the Long Beach Hotel, it is nested in a new decor away from the lively areas of the hotel that calls for peace and quietness. As for gastronomy, the hotel will take you on a journey from Asia to Italy through a variety of culinary specialities at its restaurants around the central piazza of the hotel and on the beach.


Redesign of the logo and uniforms

Promising to bring new dynamic experiences, Long Beach’s makeover has also introduced its new logo as well as a new uniform for its 500 employees, both reflecting the elegance and refinement of the hotel which is known for its contemporary architecture. The new uniform is signed by the famous British brand, PPQ, launched by Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker in London, in 1992. International celebrities such as Kirsten Dunst, Sienna Miller, Rihanna, Lily Allen, Naomie Harris and Sophie Ellis Bextor are among the famous fans of this brand. Amy Molyneaux, the founder and director of PPQ, said that

“the inspiration for the Long Beach new uniform came from the tropical gardens of the hotel”. Thus, this functional and colourful clothing will blend with “the amazing harmony of the island”.
