We often talk about Mauritian hospitality as a passport for our welcoming capacity throughout the world. And 8 Mauritian Beachcomber hotels have been awarded by Booking.com, the famous online booking centres which covers almost 500,000 hotels in the world, at the “Guest Review Awards” 2017.
It’s not the first experience of excellence!
Among the various prizes from 2017 – such as the Gold Cristal at the Cristal Festival in Couchevel last December with the brand film created by Maison Carrée Productions in the Luxury category -, the Beachcomber group already had a prize list with Booking.com. And it was not the first one. Its hotels have done better than the precedent year by improving their scores at the Guest Review Awards 2017. They have been acknowledged by the international booking site for the excellent services provided to their clients and their commitment to high-end hospitality.

How do you become a leader in hospitality?
The Guest Review Awards score is calculated using the comments on the Booking.com site during the 24 months preceding the 1st of November 2017 (with criteria such as cleanliness, comfort, the location, the equipment, the personnel and value for money). A hotel must have a middle score which is equal or higher than 8 to receive a Guest Review Award. The rankings are made from a database of more than 140 millions comments, which are testimonies if real experiences shared by real clients. For this 6th edition, 549,937 hotels in 218 countries have received a prize.
